Βραβεία Oscar 2024: Σάρωσε το Poor Things – 11 υποψηφιότητες για την ταινία του Λάνθιμου

Έφτασε επιτέλους η στιγμή που όλοι περιμέναμε. Οι υποψηφιότητες των φετινών Oscar είναι εδώ και το Poor Things του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου επιβεβαίωσε όλες τις προβλέψεις. Η ταινία του Έλληνα σκηνοθέτη σάρωσε με 11 υποψηφιότητες μεταξύ των οποίων της σκηνοθεσίας, καλύτερης ταινίας Α΄ γυναικείου ρόλου για την Emma Stone και Β’ ανδρικού για τον Mark Ruffalo.

Ο Λάνθιμος θα ανταγωνιστεί πλέον τους Nolan, Scorsese, Jonathan Glazer του The Zone of Interest και Anatomy of a Fall της Justine Triet. Η ταινία Poor Things βασίζεται στο ομότιτλο βιβλίο του ‘Alasdair Gray. Ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος αντιστρέφει τον μύθο του Frankenstein και καταθέτει ένα καυστικό δοκίμιο για την ελευθερία και τη χαρά του σεξ, τις ταξικές ανισότητες, την ατομική και κοινωνική αυτοδιάθεση, την επιθυμία και την αγάπη.

Το Poor things συμπεριλαμβάνεται ήδη σε όλες τις λίστες των μεγάλων κινηματογραφικών περιοδικών και διεθνών κριτικών κινηματογράφου για τις καλύτερες ταινίες της χρονιάς. Η ταινία έκανε την παγκόσμια πρεμιέρα της τον περασμένο Σεπτέμβριο στο Φεστιβάλ Βενετίας, όπου κέρδισε το Χρυσό Λέοντα, ενώ μεταξύ άλλων βραβείων κέρδισε τη Χρυσή Σφαίρα Καλύτερης ταινίας και Καλύτερης Γυναικείας Ερμηνείας στην Κατηγορία Κωμωδία- Μιούζικαλ.

Στις υποψηφιότητες προηγείται το Oppenheimer του Nolan καθώς προτάθηκε σε 13 κατηγορίες, ενώ αμέσως μετά το Poor Things, δέκα υποψηφιότητες έχει το Killers of the Flower Moon και οκτώ η Barbie.
